The said meeting takes place twice a year to give updates and do follow-ups of youth events, activities and gatherings of young people in the region’s arch/dioceses.
During the council meeting, all ecclesiastical territories reported latest activities in line with the celebration of the CBCP Year of the Youth.
The conference has an over-all theme: “Stand firm in the faith… Do all your work in love”, same as the theme for the celebration of the CBCP Year of the youth (YOTY).
The youth coordinating council hoped that through the YOTY theme, it can convey the message to young people to make a firm stand amid struggles that the youth ministry in the region is facing.
Naval Bishop Filomeno G. Bactol, DD led the welcome mass on the first day.
The RYCC meeting was also highlighted by the 2nd Love Rocks! Forum which was hosted by Naval diocese last Oct. 29.
