Living in Christ is a life of joy! It is not easy joy, but joy nevertheless, and one that is genuine and lasting. It is a joy that is welcoming, forgiving, patient, kind, as illustrated by our Lord in today’s gospel, with His stories of a man who lost a sheep and a woman a coin, both of whom exulted and invited others to share in their joy when they found what they lost.
Built-up Christian life:
Part of our participation in the NYD2011 is the submission of a solidarity share (of P1,000.00 per pilgrim); this will contribute to a shared joy during our celebration. Not paid with this yet? Coordinate it now with your Group Head [N.B. Tomorrow is the deadline].
Firm in the faith:
Let us remember in prayer the local churches in the Western Visayas Region and their pilgrims to the NYD2011.
