Tree planting in Kalinga to coincide with Earth Day celebration

A synchronized tree planting activity is scheduled on April 24 and 25 in the Province of Kalinga, coinciding with the Earth Day celebration.

In a press statement, the Provincial Government of Kalinga said the leading agencies on the tree planting project would be the Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office (Penro) and the local branch of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) there.

Expected to join the tree planting are representatives from different schools, government agencies, local government units, and government-owned and controlled corporations.
